Sligo Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative, decided to upgrade its core technology and services to enable digital transformation and drive greater collaboration amongst staff. Key technologies such as Servers, Network Devices, Firewalls and the existing email solution all required upgrading to deliver upon this vision. Sligo Credit Union are always working to improve services for members, and part of the transformation also included migrating to new membership software to drive efficiencies and deliver superior customer engagement.
What we did
The ProCloud team worked with Sligo Credit Union to deliver a modern architecture that leveraged cutting-edge technology at a lower cost than existing systems to drive this transformation. Our approach was to deliver a hybrid cloud solution which integrated on premise systems with Microsoft Azure Cloud for Data Backup and Disaster Recovery of critical workloads. ProCloud installed new next generation firewalls with a new centrally managed Aruba network solution which included wireless access points for all locations, allowing users to seamlessly connect to Microsoft 365 for email collaboration.
