Chief Information Security Officer

Job Description

The role of Chief Information Security Officer is a client-facing role. We are looking for an excellent communicator with a positive outlook and a get-the-job done attitude. Ideally you have 3-4 years relevant experience including using and deploying Microsoft solutions (MDM Intune, Defender ATP, Azure AD, Azure Information Protection etc).

Technology Focus

Your primary focus will be to work with solutions in our portfolio which deal with:

  • Identity and Access Management – (Azure Active Directory – AAD)
  • Threat Protection – (Advanced Threat Analytics, Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, Office 365 Threat Protection and Threat Intelligence),
  • Information Protection – (Azure Information Protection, Office 365 Data Loss Prevention, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Office 365 Advanced Security Management, Microsoft Intune)
  • Security Management – (Azure Security Centre, Office 365 Security and Compliance Centre, Windows Defender Advanced Security Centre).

Responsibilities

  • Remote and on-site deployment, troubleshooting and system integration
  • Work on POC and production deployments
  • Integrate cloud applications with security products. Troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Provide second level technical support to clients
  • Assist with pre-sales and post-sales activities

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualification: either CISSP / CompTIA Security+ / MTA / MCSA / MCSE / AZ 500 / MS 500
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant experience in deployment and technical support of security solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Azure applications, Azure cloud VM configuration and deployment
  • Office 365 deployment / configuration
  • Proficient with routing / switching concepts (2+ years)

  • Azure Active Directory sites deployment / configuration, plus Active Directory Schema and Forest configuration
  • Log management solutions such as LogRhythm or AlienVault
  • Amazon AWS and cloud technologies

Cloud Technician

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the Cloud Technician Support position. Cloud Technicians troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback, and support the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.

Moreover, Technical Support Officers need to talk to customers directly, as well as create written documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication.

Cloud Technician Responsibilities:

  • Identifying hardware and software solutions.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Resolving network issues.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their issue.
  • Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve an issue.
  • Following up with clients to ensure the issue is resolved.
  • Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Managing multiple cases at one time.
  • Testing and evaluating new technologies.

Cloud Technician Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
