Role overview 

The role of the Client & Sales Support Administrator is to primarily provide support to the senior sales team across the full sales cycle, to ensure that a professional and efficient sales administration environment and related systems are in place, that meet client needs as well as the company’s quality standards.

In addition, the role will have responsibility for supporting the ProCloud’s social media profile as well as engaging with clients and supporting the coordination of partner and client events.

Main responsibilities

The following are the main responsibilities of the role, but this is not an exhaustive list, and the jobholder will be required to be flexible and to undertake duties as may arise within a growing company and as within their reasonable capabilities:

  • Ensure all sales enquiries, quotations, tenders and orders are documented and recorded correctly on company systems.
  • Support the quotation process and raise purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain customer database.
  • Attend and minute sales meetings.
  • Produce sales reports at required intervals.
  • Check and record incoming deliveries.
  • Maintain stock inventory.
  • Develop and prepare Company presentation and marketing materials for use in different forums.
  • Coordinate and arrange client and partner events.
  • Maintain a professional Company presence on social media platforms.

Role & skills requirements

This role will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced and organised administrator to work in a busy and growing Company, with the opportunity to work closely with clients and partners as well as with senior Company personnel, in a collaborative team environment.

The following non-technical skills are required with the role involving a high level of interpersonal engagement internally and externally, and a responsive, client-focused approach at all times:

  • Previous experience in an IT, sales support, administration or marketing environment
  • High level of IT proficiency including across the Microsoft Office Suite and databases
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Report and content writing capability with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage with and develop strong working relationships with clients, partners and colleagues.
  • Practical experience of the use social media tools in a commercial environment and or/previous experience in web development/content updating is advantageous but not essential.
